In this Instructor-Led Training, managers and supervisors will learn how to utilize the "Mind the Gap Diagnosis Framework" to identify performance gaps in their employees in preparation for creating performance evaluations and coaching plans for the upcoming quarter.
I was asked to design a training for managers that have been reading "Onward" by Elena Aguilar that will help them to internalize the Mind the Gap Framework and use it successfully in their performance evaluations and coaching plans in order to improve the evaluation process for all employees, improve manager coaching skills, and increase employee trust in the evaluation and coaching process.
This is Module 1 of a 4-Module Training.
The resulting training was designed and delivered to 75 managers.
Each learner was given the opportunity to internalize the framework, discuss the tool in discussion groups, and assess their understanding in a series of work scenarios. The training concluded with a Knowledge Assessment that was completed and submitted outside of training.
